As part of this year WORLD PEACE DAY CELEBRATIONS on the theme “SHAPING PEACE TOGETHER” Sedarvp Ghana embark on a media tour in the northern region to commemorate the day of peace, some of the radio stations that hosted sedarvp Ghana campaign are Diamond FM, Zaa Radio and Neesim Fm. Still on the celebrations, Sedarvp Ghana organized a durba at GBALAHI, during the program, 200 nose marks was share to participants.
The community was sensitized regarding the need for peace, addressing the gathering, the public relation’s officer of Sedarvp-Ghana, Mrs. Abubakari M. Belawu took her time to educate them about the importance of peace, especially since we are in an election year as a country, she also highlighted Sedarvp Ghana plans to bring development to the community, especially through our women empowerment programs.
Mr. Abukari Shaibu Niendow, Executive Director of Sedarvp Ghana also added his word of advise to the community about the need for us to cherish and celebrate peace always. The Executive Secretary of Sedarvp Ghana, Mr. Abdul –Muumin Sualihu also appealed for cool heads to prevail in any event of misunderstanding. He stress further the need for harmonious living.
Ms. Zakiya Ziblila Kwesijan, who represented Ghana Youth Guide during the program also hammered on the need for peaceful coexistence. She reechoed the greater need for the youth to eschew violent behaviors during electioneering process. SEDARVP-GHANA, ‘A WORLD IN PROGRESS’.
