On Wednesday, 22 May, 2020, Sedarvp Ghana made donations to Ghana Youth Guide which was Sanitary Pads for the celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day.
The celebration will help young girls to gain relevant information of their menstrual hygiene/personal Hygiene. And the Theme was “Breaking the Silence (Bloody taboo-Menstruation)”, and raise awareness and change negative social norms surrounding menstrual hygiene and their reproductive health rights.
Ghana Youth Guide, a youth network that empowers young girls as well as making them assertive, it’s based in the Northern Region/Tamale.
The presentation was done by Miss. Hibbatullah Wunpini on behalf of sedarvp Ghana to the executive director of Ghana Youth Guide and a team member.
Ghana Youth Guide Director, Chentiwuni S. Abdul Fatawu showed his appreciation by saying his entire organization are grateful to SEDARVP GHANA for this donation and also Sedarvp Ghana’s enthusiasm to support the growth of youth development in Ghana.
