SEDARVP GHANA  and  Happiness Is Free donates to Persons with Disabilities at RCFPWD in Tamale.

Sedarvp Ghana in collaboration with Happiness is Free has donated material clothes and food to the Northern Regional Resource Centre for Persons with Disabilities (RCPWD) in Tamale. The donation exercise took place on Saturday, the 17th of December to mark the (RCPWD)’s annual meeting for 2022.

The coordinator for Youth in Agriculture and Environment for Sedarvp Ghana, Mr. Abdul-Wasir Mohammed reiterated the saying that “Disability is not Inability” and so they should not despair and sit idle due to their Inability. They should find innovative ways to be productive in whatever ways possible through education and vocational training

Also present for the donation was the representative of Happiness is Free (HiF), Madam Cynthia Liekuu. She gave a brief outline about Happiness is Free (HiF), what they represent and what they do for the vulnerable in the society.

She said amongst other things that Happiness is Free is nonprofit and community-based association led by women who are passionate for social change and concern for the needy (vulnerable) by doing various voluntary activities to improve the lives of people in the society.

The Deputy Chairperson for the Northern Regional Resource Centre for Persons with Disabilities (RCPWD) in Tamale, Madam Memunatu Ibrahim stood on behalf of the (RCPWD) team and expressed gratitude to Sedarvp Ghana and Happiness is Free for their humanitarian concern for them.

The beneficiaries couldn’t hide their happiness after the event. They also expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture and wish the two organizations God’s protection as they continue to do more for the betterment of the society.
